For me, he'll just be a nice addition to my 1:1 collection, I don't have the PF, I wouldn't want it without the Ex. cape and I've never seen the Ex. for reasonable money.

I just think he has a very cool design and the detailing of his eye sockets and eyes is really wild and I've always thought it'd make a badass 1:1.

I only also own the Yoda 1:1 but I'd love to add this one and I've got the perfect spot next to my PF (non-exclusive unfortunately). I'm just hoping it'll be $$ possible. I do have some "special coupon" points I can use but beyond $500 it really won't be feasible.

Yikes! What an expensive year so far! I have the IM bust on pre-order ($700) and now this?!? But man, it'll look SWEET next to my exclusive PF Grievous

I just wish it had metal incorporated into the mouth area, etc; but I am sure that would have raised costs even more.

I can't wait to see more angles of him, this is definitely one not to display dead on, you lose all sense of depth, a slight angle and you'll get his neck sticking outward and the full effect of the design.

Hold on there, partner. First of all, Maulfan is saying that SS may never make a Vader bust, because it might infringe on the 1:1 helmet license. In any case, we have no concrete information about it.

Secondly, Master Replicas didn't make busts of any kind -- they made helmet replicas. That's pretty different, since a bust would be made of something like polystone instead of fiberglass, wouldn't be wearable, and would include more than just the head.

Ahhh. Ok ok. Sorry I did mean that MR made the 1:1 Vader HELMET, not the bust. But that WOULD be cool If SS made a bust with more than just the helmet
