Browsing amazon and am clueless about what type of glue to get. I'm trying to find one that won't run as I'm worried it'll discolor any paint it touches. I need to reattach a scabbard to its leatherlike belt, and I need to reattach part of the shoulder armor on one of my predators. Any help would be amazing!

Just your run of the mill crazy glue will due. As long as it isn't the thin water type, get the thicker type stuff.

Used the thin water type on my Neca Alien's dome... and well, it gave me an excuse to repaint, yet I still haven't solved its dome problem.

NOOOO avoid cyanoacrylate glues (like Krazy Glue)! They give off fumes which will show up as a white smoky film on the surrounding plastic areas.
I would suggest using clear epoxy. Its thick, and there's no fumes.

Good thread, for things like hard plastic breaks, pegs rods etc I stick soely and exclusively to gorilla glue. Nothing bonds faster and holds stronger than that! Love it. It does leave a slight film so I always touch it up with paint.

To attach heads to neck posts, us e as an adhesive filler, use to make things like smaller pegs fit into larger sockets I use a hot glue gun. There is anq. Elasticity and it dries fast and can be forgiving if you pull hard enough.

household Goop is great for the same thing but with a stronger hold and slower dry time.

I do love Goop for glueing fabric, the only way to go bonds instantly and remains thin and flexible so it does not bulk up or make it hard. I cant sew so for minor tailorings etc I use goop all the time

It really depends on the materials involved. For styrene(like HT and SST limb sections)solvent cements like Tenax-7 work very well. Cyano-acrylate is good for areas that aren't under a lot of stress(no tensile strength). For clear parts, the best choice is,believe it or not, Elmer's white glue.It dries clear and holds pretty well, though, again, not great under stress...PS

Glue suggestions?

I recently purchased a Koto Magneto and the cape has broken around the shoulders. It is still in fine shape though and it stays together even though iti s broke. There any specific kind of glue u would suggest for repairing this?

I would suggest the same glues as stated in this thread. Just standard crazy glue of the thicker variety. :lecture

^ Yup! Loctite is the best stuff around. I've glued my Medixs rubber suit together with that and its like it was never cut in half. I've also glued parts of TrueTypes back together and was able to keep mobility with out fear of breaking it again. It doesn't run, doesn't smell, it works very fast and its strong as hell. I love that stuff.
