Just got the NL too. I'm ALL over this P.O.

Those proto pics are sick...

and that Sinbad is Bad Ass...

Flash does look great - I hope he's not just going to be offered as monochrome though.

And they're having contests at 3 of their favorite websites (of which we aren't one I guess):

CONTESTS: We are going to be running 3 concurrent contests with some of our favorite websites. This is 3 ways to win some awesome Go Hero products! Details to be posted shortly on the respective sites. In no particular order:

I couldn't find the contest on figures.com... anyone have a direct link?

So Flash will be $100 only on Black Friday... hard to beat $100, but I really would have liked to have had Buck in hand before committing to a second figure.

Trust me, after seeing (and holding) these at SDCC it's a safe commitment... especially for a pre-order. These things are amazing.

$100 for Flash is a steal. Go Steve! :rock

I wonder if Sinbad or Perseus will be up for order soon as well?

Were the figures at SDCC production?

I'll still be buying, as I can tell these are gonna be awesome... and for a $100 who wouldn't want a Flash for Buck?

Almost mistakable for rhyming slang.

All I need now is an email. I want my email. Where is my email? Give me my email. :taz

Are the heads cast-in color Irish? Sinbad kinda looks like it is... that would be a nice touch to see.

Hmm, I wonder if they'd be interested in subcontracting LotR...?

D,
I've been exchanging a few emails with Steve F. Do you want me to contact him for you on behalf of SSF and ask him to get in touch with you?

Or maybe you can email him at the GH site, whatever...

SSC is distributing his stuff, he should be turned on this Board...

What date is Black Friday? What makes it black.

Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States, where it is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. Since Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, Black Friday may be as early as the 23rd and as late as the 29th of November. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employees take the day off, which increases the number of potential shoppers. Retailers often decorate for the Christmas season weeks beforehand. Many retailers open very early (typically 5 am or even earlier) and offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to draw people to their stores. Although Black Friday, as the first shopping day after Thanksgiving, has served as the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season at least since the start of the modern Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924, the term "Black Friday" has been traced back only to the 1960s. The term "Black Friday" originated in Philadelphia in reference to the heavy traffic on that day. More recently, merchants and the media have used it instead to refer to the beginning of the period in which retailers are in the black (i.e., turning a profit).

Nah, I was kind of kidding. First I would need to feel out SSC to see how receptive they'd be to something like that. And Steve's got his own relationship with SSC - he can broach it himself if he's interested. But judging from Buck and Sinbad, I'd certainly support it.

Thanks for the detailed response pjam. Over here Black Friday refers to 13th January 1939 when a bushfire swept through the state of Victoria and killed 71 people. It affected 75% of the state in some way.

So back on topic, I gather the 28th of the month will be pre-order day for Flash. The Sinbad looks great too. I must say I'm loving the incentives Go Hero are offering with their figures so far.
