Got a Great price on Kong vs V Rex

Just got one off of Ebay for 150.00 plus 25.00 shipping - Oh happy day!!!

I have been going back and forth on this piece for some time. I just could not bring myself to go over 200 for the piece. Not that it was not worth that much. I just did not really have the funds. But for this price it's a steal! Happy I waited!!

Seriously - it does bewilder me why this piece isn't selling for more.
It is one that I just wouldn't part with, and I consider it to be easily
a $500+ value statue. It "feels" that way to me anyways.

Any speculation as to why this one is in the toilet price-wise?

I know that King Kong wasn't as successful as LOTR for PJ, but still,
the statue alone is so amazing and dynamic looking, I'm floored that
it is so cheap.

plain and simple, the massive ES is the reason behind the low prices. Which Im thankful for. I would have never picked it up at retail.

just picked up the Kong Chess set a few days back for $99 from there.
Which is a STEAL compared to the retail like the KvR

I love that statue, one of my favorite pieces in my collection. What's wierd is that even if Kong 2005 wasn't made it would still be an amazing piece because of what it depicts and represents...

Not yet, bought and paid for on Nov 28th. Sent an email for some sort of update or acknowledgement of the transaction existence and received a reply from Amanda on Friday that they were shipping today the 4th. As of today no notice of shipping.
