Now I think Travolta stinks as an actor, but I do think he's doing a pretty good Gotti impression. This might be the most convincing wig he's ever worn. As for the film, it's very average from the trailer but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, I agree. It wasn't like I forgot that I'm watching Travolta instead of Shapiro himself, but the superficiality and ego of the guy, as well as his drive and intelligence came through in flying colors. You were supposed to cringe a bit when he started up. He also seems like a good choice for Gotti IMO. For the most part, I'm not the biggest Travolta fan post Pulp Fiction, but there are roles where he makes a lot of sense.
