This is a classic example of repeated poor judgement by Sideshow about character choice. The Endor Trooper 3-pack has now been trumped by the $150 chair for a character only a fraction of fans care about in the first place.

They release Admiral Piett with no exclusive despite him being an OT character that almost every fan will recognise (and still he only sells 1500 figures). But a non-canon nobody get the most expensive extra to date for any line they produce.

Sideshow needs to get its act together or it will manage this license into bankrupcy.

I'm pretty happy with it and its pretty unique which is whats cool about Star Wars. I did order the EX and Reg . I wanted to get the EX for a Christmas gift or at least get the $$ to pay for half of it but if I can't swing it I'll cancel the EX and get the REG.

I really want the EX though. I was going to get Carbonite Han for Christmas but since this was announced I think its a better deal.

Palpy with Chair will come but SS is pretty limited on Sith so it will be awhile still.

I love the chair, but it's just too much IMO. I'm really hoping that if they're going to do the ysalamiri with him, that they put the darn thing on a nutrient frame. Those things aren't supposed to be able to survive without getting nurtients through their claws, which are kind of fused with the wood of trees if I remember correctly.

Correct. Perhaps they could be "petted" for short times without the frames?

$200 for Thrawn and a chair a better deal than $200 for Han Solo in Carbonite + Environment? That's kinda debatable.

I think they could have sold the command chair by its self as a 1/6 enviroment piece. I preordered it but again I dont know if I can keep it.

$150 for that chair is ridiculous..i dont know what good stuff they are smoking over there at Sideshow..but they need a break...its just an outrageous amount for a polystone chair..I dont care who comes on here and tries to defend them after this post..its outrageous.

Ordered the regular. I certainly want Thrawn, but that chair is just way too much. I don't even think I would have the space for it anyways.

For me there is a big difference between the Emperor and Thrawn. There is value with the Emperor but for this guy its just way too much.

I have always liked the Thrawn character and I am excited about this figure. I think the chair is a BRILLIANT idea to drum up some excitement for the figure. However, it really needs to be $75 cheaper. At its current price, I suspect the exclusive will not be as popular as it could be.

Glad I've got the Exclusive ordered--- The chair looks awesome and incoporating these large pieces as exclusives really allow us to elevate the posing of a 1/6 so that it takes on more of a "moving" statue-type feel or even more of the creation of a dio...

i ask one of the sideshow guys there since they have chair and Cobra Throne if they were thinking of making the Emperor's chair and he said SS knows that thats what a lot of people are asking for and it a good posibility in the future for it to happen
