yeah i live a few blocks away and they don't have half of what they have on the site and i've looked for years on their site to see what new stock they got before i walked over and for like 2 years I had no idea they even had their hot toys on the site. It is a terrible site to navigate... I didn't check shipping but when I got Ghost Rider from them last year it was around $20. Not sure why they'd be so much higher now

Oh well, still not bad if you get 30% of Jack or a Classic Pred.

I was going to get Classic Predator until shipping rates kicked in ($30). It killed my enthusiasm

Now I'm OK with a fair shipping cost, I even understand if I'm overcharged a little, but 27 bucks to ship the classic predator? No option to combine shipping? I was going to order 3 items and the shipping was $57 for economy. It's still saving money, but it's not the 30 - 40 % that's advertised really.

that's old news, midtown comics ALWAYS overcharged for shipping, i orderd an alien statue from them about the size of a ht 12" box, they charged me $40 to ship 1 mile across the hudson river...

i dont order from them online anymore unless there is a really big discount like the ninja alice (35% off), but still go to their midtown stores quite often and buy directly in store.

people who preorder those statues online is in for a rude awakening since they dont list the shipping cost and just bill you when it's ready to ship.

and no they wont let you order online and pickup in store to avoid the shipping fee.
