New trailer is definitely a better way to go than the first trailer, IMO. Still think Reynolds is the wrong man for the role. The little comedy they did keep with the oath made me cringe.

Will definitely check this out on Netflix, anyways. . .

My ass will be in the theater for Thor, GL, Cap and even X-men....hell, even Transformers.

If they're good then it will be multiple viewings.

I am excited for this summer of comic films. GL, Thor, Cap, X-Men, Priest all look decent thus far. The actual movie may be different but will have my butt planted in the seat to determine for myself

Ditto for me as well. Its a great summer for movies. The only thing I'm worried about is Captain America DURING SDCC. Going to see how that will fit it. I managed to go to the Simpsons movie during SDCC, but this isn't Simpson Con. Its COMIC CON so a comic based film like Cap is going to be as hard to get into as Hall H

It is a really great summer for movies. Better than I can remember in a very long time. I don't quite get why they have Cap opening during Comic-Con either. Yeah, that film in an theater in San Diego or free screening they do will be very tough to get into.

Yup, so far this year Feb and April are the only two months were there has been movies I will buy when it comes time for blu but can pass on going to see them in the theaters.

Okay - officially psyched now. My problem was with the costume and it looks much better in that footage. I didn't realize that Parallax was going to be a main villain though - hopefully it's just a thread to carry over into the 2nd film. Too many villains can spoil a good superhero film.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that.....don't underestimate The Avengers movie.

That being said, Thor and Cap are the winds of the Avengers sails so if they fail, Avengers might not go far.

Yes, Batman 3 will be huge but it might not be the biggest this time around.

Parallax looks to be more the main villian than Hammond does. They hardly even show Hammond in any of the trailers. I don't think Sinestro will be a villian at all in this. The only question is whether he will go yellow at the end of this film or if they will just wait until the second for his change.

Nah I don't think Sinestro going badguy has anything to do with Parallax in the comics, of course, that won't stop them from making it so in the films

Sinestro was 'evil' long before Parallax. By 'evil' I mean he has a warped view of order in the universe. His sector of space was the most orderly in the galaxy, but when the Lanterns actually visited his sector, they found that Sinestro was a despotic ruler. Order at any cost.

In the comics, Sinestro was introduced to Parallax during his imprisonment in the central power battery. Both were imprisoned in there. Parallax's presence in the power battery was the cause of the Green Lantern's 'weakness' to the color yellow.
