Just a little freaky
Was surfing the web and found this forum and here i am. i seen my 1:6 Mad Max Interceptor build on google and its on a post here. figure id join and post some pics of my works ive done. i am a big mad max fan ever since i seen original Mad Max and Road Warrior in theatre as a kid. when fury road came out wife and i started to build mad max and doof warrior cosplays and the apocalypse has been in my life since. we have done alot of cosplays before fury road (Predator cosplays, even meeting Ana at a convention where she ran up to my character to get pics and a kiss lol) i have a background in the Museum and Trade show industry as a commercial artist, as well as building models since i was 6, having a mom who supported my hobby through my childhood. i also had a local model shop that helped me as a kid to further my knowledge on the hobby. way before the internet lol. i eventually got hired as a medic/firefighter and recently retired after 20 years of service, was a haz-mat technician, on the Technical Rescue Team and was assigned the majority of my career to a Ladder/Tower Company. i also build and restore classic cars which my fav build was Mad Max's Interceptor using a 71 ford torino aka Torinoceptor. its my fury road tribute which we took to the largest Mad Max gathering in the Mojave Desert called Wasteland Weekend in 2019. (Emil Minty even seen my build online and left me an awesome message on the car, my glove box did make it to Australia for him to autograph, its pretty cool to get a FB call on a saturday and its the Feral Kid calling to see what's up) i usually scratch build but i fell into the 3D printing world recently and man that has been a blast. totally new and still leading but im building more mad max cars including 1:6 scale lol. well enough about my nerdism lol. time to post my first build on this site. =)
