"He say you Brade Runna ... " Custom Deckard sculpt

...you got the wrong Guy pal !

Another quick little custom for me. I've always loved this character and whilst the Indy head was being reworked my Brother mentioned that he would like a Deckard as the sculpt was pure Harrison Ford at that time . So I set about it...

My brother is over the moon with the way it came out. I'm happy with it and I will be even happier after it has been painted up. ( It will be winging its way towards a certain Mr W in the next day or so )

Looks awesome Paul! Great to see some cool custom Deckard heads being resculpted from the amazing Trevor Grove Indy head out there. I have one on order from D.A. Josh. Here's his with the resculpted neck and the 'really quick and dirty' paint up below:

:lol Yep! I finished it. Hastily slopped paint on it, not my best work at all.. just meant to show the work. I also made the mold today as well. Here are my quick shots.

Yeah, I love what Josh did with his ! If that is his quick and dirty I'd love to see what it looks like when he's given it his all ! And yeah, Trevor's sculpt Rocks !!

Great stuff all round. That Trevor sculpt is one of the best if not the best sculpt ever - he nailed Harrison Ford's likeness! No one else has ever done that!

Thanks ! :) I'll have to get some better pics taken of this as it looks far better in person.

Hopefully at some point I can get some of a fully clothed completed figure.

I don't think I've seen a better Dek, Paul. Congrats to you and your Brother...

... and me for getting one of these baby's from you. :D

I can not wait to see what a FML paintup looks like. :rock

Paul, what can I say? Simply the best Deckard I have seen since the movie. Brilliant work!

Please let me know when you are making these available. I would literally kill for that head! I don't know what I would kill... probably some sort of reptile, snake, or something that doesn't have a soul.:lol

I think it would still be better to have the thread here, in the customizing section, but it's good to know these are up for sale.
Very nice looking sculpts!

Thanks abake !

I just wanted to add that my sculpt hasn't been painted yet. The painted version is Josh's version of Deckard ( and mighty fine it is too ) . I might just send him one to paint up for me though .

I finally saw one of the Indiana Jones in person over the weekend and I didn't care for the sculpt. It's good, but I think the definitive 12 inch Harrison Ford sculpt has yet to be done. This conversion is also nice, but using the SS sculpt as a base doesn't help totally sell it. I keep my fingers crossed that someday the right heads will come along.

I know everyone is entitled to an opinion. Yours is :duh

Therefore, I fart in your general direction.

Yes from that angle, with that paint job it looks quite impressive. Viewed from other angles the sculpt is off. That's not to say it isn't close, it is. But there is room for improvement, and it shows in the angles that the Deckard is shot from. Multiple shots from different angles of the Indy repaint will show what I mean. If this sculpt works for everyone that's great. I'm still looking for a 1/6th Indy I'm satisfied with.

I hope that you find one. I'm happy to receive any comments on my work if it helps me to improve . I'm happy with my resculpt (as are many others ) and its personal taste that matters at the end of the day I suppose ?

I'm looking forward to seeing Les work his magic on this.
