Head sculpt interest - Patrick Magoohan

I've seen tons of threads for interest in sculpts that are either already out there in some form or truly obscure. But what about #6? Does the Prisoner still have any interest behind him? I've always wanted one for my collection but was wondering whether the interest was there for anyone else before looking into it more. I have no sculpting details at this point except it probably would NOT be Ada (too difficult to work with) or Chris as he seems to have commissions right thru the next decade lined up and I've already seen threads where guys aren't seeing anything from him. And that can all be ironed out later anyway, after we see how many are actually committed to a sculpt.

I am geniunely surprised there's not much apparent interest in such a project, McGoohan has...or had () a very distinctive and interesting face, I myself am contemplating sculpting him, but having tackled him many times before, I know just how difficult he is to get right lol

I would be interested in a Scarecrow of Romney Marsh version of Patrick with longer hair. This could probably be done pretty easily if sculpted right.

I was surprised too! There used to be so much talk of folks wanting a #6 for their collection on a multitude of boards.

and I would have thought his recent and unfortnate death would have only spurred people on to get one made, shame that he's never really got the coverage he deserved regarding his death, shameful compared to how the death of minor "celeb" Jade Goody was covered, if you like in the UK you'll DEFINITELY know what I mean :S

I'd be interested. Maybe there will be more interest when the AMC remake

My god, I'd be up for one. I adored his portrayal of Number 6, and I can't believe that theres such little apparent interest in a sculpt.

The man was a legend as far as I'm concerned.

I was actually hoping that Sideshow would make a PF of Number 6, since it's not like the license can support a range of 12-inch figures. But a nice PF of him in his piped jacket, along with the #6 badge on his chest (from that 2-second scene where he actually wore it in Free For All) would be perfect.

Depending on the quality of the sculpt, I *might* be interested. I loved to watch "The Prisoner" as a kid.

I can't believe it either. I see thread after thread for commissioning sculpts of actors or characters that are already available, but no interest in sculpts that have yet to be attempted. WTF

I heard a rumor that a Prisioner figure may be happening. 2 different sculptors I know have been approached about it. That's all I can say for now.

If someone brought out an official fully dressed fig, I'd be like a cheap suit... but I don't do the whole 'head sculpt' thing.
