It's looks like 2 different sculpts... It's insane.

im favoring black more but i just cant get behind this sculpt. doesn't quite scratch the itch for ledger likeness. egg is pretty good, adam is also contender for the neutral look

Not true, most of them are 3d sculpted by artists like Nancy/Yixie, Lu1yo or Mr EGG.
There's also guys like DAI_QZ who sculpt them by hand.

Until there's a better one to me the best is xXx, Egg's take doesn't really look like Heath it's a great sculpt but there's something off about it.
I never liked Adam Gu's take on the serious expression, to me he looks like a sad puppy most of the time.

I've heard about Black before but i'm not familiar with his work, i'm going to try to find his instagram account to have a look.

Oh ok ! Then I'm familiar with him haha, he's the best in the market.

It's a great sculpt, i'm almost tempted to get a second one now.

Congrats! everybody getting one. Too much on my plate at the minute so I'll pass, but for anybody on the fence looking for a custom Joker sculpt, it's a no brainer for the price.

Does it look like Black painted over the eyes though?

It doesn't help that the eyelids are so pronounced either. I agree with @xXJ0kerXx1 it's not the best likeness. It's still a great sculpt I think but the bar is already set too high with Joker, and this wouldn't be my first option.

got adam's early sample rehauled by black from a big collector for about 1400 about 2 years ago. was never too sure if this is an original or fake cast since there is something inscribed on the bottom of the neck before I superglued a magnet on it for easy swapping so I wouldn't damage the hair.

certain sculpts he made didn't come with COAs since he believed people would've copied his COAs easy like they did with his heads. recasters don't go through that much trouble to do but its a valid paranoia. so going based on the collector's words that it was adam's doesn't quite sit well with me, why I'm getting the smiling nancy done but id be interested in a neutral sculpt for him again to have something more "official" so I can feel better about the purchase

I've heard that Snakeli might be planning on making a "neutral" headsculpt. But i'm not 100% sure.

he was doing a joker sculpt with mille but maybe that got pushed down the list, he's focusing on 3 versions of affleck rn but id be keen on seeing that from him. i actually purchased the adam head off of him lol transaction went well even though I had to wait like 4 months because china was in lockdown during the time and he couldn't get to his house so he ended up covering shipping to me which was nice
(sculpt kinda came banged up and hair a mess, but I was able to fix it)

I heard Adam's raw sculpts can reach thousands of dollars. If that's the case, i doubt that's an original.

Then again, somebody mentioned Heise doesn't accept recast work. Though maybe he couldn't have told.
