Yeah, it's best to wait to see what other Hellboy 2 stuff comes out. You know there's going to be some really nice pieces. And I'm just waiting for that first 1/6 announcement.

Both my Kroenen figures and the Kroenen mask are very well. In fact I was just admiring the mask this morning...and thinking to myself how damn happy I am that I finally got one. Definitely one of my favorite pieces in my HB collection. I promise that I will always take good care of it, if that helps at all.

But I thought that's what busts (in the classic sense) used to be... armless, until Gentle Giant started adding arms to their Star Wars line changing the concept of busts entirely. They should call them "Waist Ups". In fact, wasn't GG first Star Wars busts from Episode II armless as well.

Anyway, arms or not, I wouldn't be getting these. I haven't been a big fan of Mezco's interpretation of Hellboy's face. A little too cartoony for my taste. I like Sideshow's 1/3 scale bust (with Ivan) MUCH better.

yeah, none of my sideshow busts have arms. Seems odd to me to think a bust should have them....

I agree with you that arms on a bust aren't necessary... but when you have the full torso and head on a shirtless figure it looks odd just to have a clean cut off.

But with something like this Spock bust it looks fine since the overall design makes more sense... at least to me.
