Hello from Chicago!

Hi everyone! My name is John and I'm happy to finally be here! I've been reading the boards for years so I'm not sure why it took me so long to sign up. I've been a collector since I was a kid, starting with baseball cards and all things Star Wars. I still collect vintage Star Wars but I got hooked on the 1/6th figures when I purchased Yoda and his Hut from Sideshow 5-6 years ago. To say it has snowballed from there would be putting it mildly. I currently collect Star Wars, LOTR, GoT, The Walking Dead as well as figures from my favorite '80s movies and comics. For 2017 I'm most excited to add the Blitzway Ghostbusters, Hot Toys Ripley and VTS Furiosa to my collection. I also have two kids (ages 7 & 5) that have joined me as junior collectors, much to my ex's dismay, but we have fun. Anyway, I look forward to contributing to the forum!
