Hello from Frederick, MD

Hi everyone, Karnis here from Frederick, MD, north of DC & west of Baltimore, MD. I'm a 19 year CCTV tech for Sensormatic/ ADT & I've been a long time collector of figures, bust & statues, mostly of movie & comic figures. I've hanging out at the Spawn forums for awhile, but with the recent decline of McFarlane products and my own growth as a collector, I've been finding myself moving away from there & enjoying the SSF forums. I also dabble in home theater, have a large 720p projector system w/ DVD, HTPC and bluray systems with surround sound as well. I'm increasing my high end collectibles as my budget (& wife ) allows and really digging the latest Hot Toys releases as well as select mid priced statues. Looking towards meeting & greeting you folks, take care!

I also have a projector with Blu-ray player you can't beat watching films on them can you? i have two 42" plasma and they pale in comparison to the projector.

Yup, I have a 50" HDTV upstairs but for my mancave downstairs (which is also my display room) I'll never buy another TV again. It's a Mits 720p HD1000u, got it under < $1K, the the value is outstanding. The PQ is so good, so true, a PJ has so much more bang for the buck its no comparison.
I made a 70" DIY gray screen & the picture is incredible!

Yeah i got mine on a 82" it's also a 720p once the bulb goes i'm going to get a 1080p Panasonic or one of the new JVC ones but for now i'm more than happy.
