Howdy Folks!

Just wanted to give a shout out to all you guys and gals out there, been visiting for a few weeks and thought I'd go ahead and join up, I've been collecting all kinds of figures and such forever and always had a sweet spot for Sideshow, but now I'm trying to get serious about collecting the "Dead" and "Specimens" series getting to the party late

I have a question I hope you can help with, I'm on the waiting list for the Specimen 3 pack of heads and the Con exclusive, what are the chances of actually getting these, should I wait or just go to Ebay. I've just recently joined the Sideshow site and new to all of this.

I think the Undying Carcass is will be my first purchase.

Slim and none given how long they've been sold out. Though since initially they weren't that popular, there's potential they'll pop back up on a "Spooky Second Chance" during Sideshow's Spooktacular this Halloween, but I wouldn't bank on it but would definitely wait until after Halloween and X-mas (since the prices on ebaY will likely go up with the holidays) to pick them up.

Yes indeed, you really do want them! All of the pics I've seen (and ones I've taken) do not do the Specimens justice. You have to actually have them in front you to get the full effect. Not only does the sculpting and paint apps look awesome, it's the vibe they give off. There's a mad scientist feel to them...

What's strange is, at least for me, it's almost easy to forget that they are not 1:1 scale when looking at them. I mean, the size difference is obvious, but when looking at them your brain somehow forgets reality. Some people here have mentioned the serious creepiness factor - and I think that's what they may mean. Something cartoonish wouldn't be creepy so much, but these have some kind of realism and spirit to them.

Why wait? Go ahead and snag a set now, wherever you can get them. You'll really enjoy them. I know you won't regret it. I am sure there's some nice folks on the boards here that would be willing to part with their set - there are a few wives of Freaks here that are NOT happy about the Specimens being in their homes

Posted a want over in the trade section, but if anyone knows of someone willing to part with those sweet heads just give me a shout, going back and forth between these and the Undying Carcass.

My son wanted a buddy and me to be Zombies for Halloween last year and I was sick as hell that day, whats the name of the movie going to be?

I was a pizza guy in a film, but not sure if it ever went anywhere.

Thanks to furystorm I was able to get all 4 heads at a great price, and I do love them, I'll post a pic. of them with my "zombie" son later. Thanks for the feedback everyone, but most of all thanks furystorm!
