Hi, I'm new to the site and have purchased a DC direct 1/6 scale The Dark Knight Heath Ledger's Joker and I quite honestly desperate for help on how to repaint the figures make up. I have searched endlessly oh YouTube and Google on any tutorials or anything really on how to repaint the face and have had no luck. if anybody can help me with just any info like what colours to use of the smile scar and the right colour for for the lines on his face and how to get the smudged/smeared effect on the red smile and the eyes. any help would be appreciated.

I believe there is a custom figure sub-forum here. I don't have the direct link but you can look around.

With that said, if this is your first time repainting something, I highly recommend you grabbing up some really cheap heads to practice on first to gets the basics down. What you'll find out out very soon is that there is not a specific one color for this and that. You have to mix different colors and layer to get what you're after. I'm not trying to discourage you as I think customizing is super fun. I'm always learning more stuff as I go. Just know that practice is essential.
