Help finding a modeler?

Hey gang!

I've been wanting to get a 1:6 prop made (K-9 from Doctor Who) for some time now but various efforts (HOWES! :emperor) have fallen through. So now I have I decided to think outside the box (well, for me anyways) and have realized maybe I can hire a modeller or someone who makes garage kits to make one for me. I unfortunately don't know anything about modeling what-so-ever.

Can I get suggestions from anyone here who more into that hobby than I on forums/sites/people/where the hell to look (laugh)?

i was toying with the idea of getting one of these:
