I've been looking like crazy and can't seem to find a few things for my Snowtrooper custom. First, a new white uniform. Now I read this thread https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24999&highlight=snowtrooper&page=2 where they mention a German Snow uniform but I can't seem to find it. Also, if I don't find it, I'll just keep the hasbro uniform but then the sleeves will be too short. Therefore, I will need some long gloved white hands.
One more thing. I'm thinking of unstitching the armor and use some sort of elastic straps. What do you guys recommend and should I just glue the straps to the armor parts. If so, which glue do you recommend or how do I attach them?
Uff, sorry for the many questions.
ANy help will be appreciated. Thanks!

here is a WIP on a true type body (I know, Tom Cruise the trooper. LOL!)

there have been several customs like this on the board. go into advanced search and type "snowtrooper" and pick threads instead of posts. you will find several.
definitely unthread the armor and fill it in & use velcro & elastic straps. good start so far.

For screen accuracy there should be straps extending from the shoulders and lower sides of the chest armor around to the back and attaching to the backpack. The straps at the shoulders are ribbed like the stormtroopers.

If you don't want to get a whole new uniform, just replace the pants. The shirt and "skirt" are all supposed to be one piece - just a white trenchcoat really. Of course you'll still have the problem of short sleeve length - maybe use a body with shorter arms?

Also, the codpiece should be separated from the belt. The codpiece is worn under the trenchcoat, while the belt is on top of it.

do you have bostik sew easy glue or fabritack? Those work great. If you wanna take the easy way, superglue or white craft glue works just as well

I had wanted to do this some time ago, but I just was having a tough time, so I passed. I look forward to seeing how this one comes around. Good luck.
