Help with some things please...

Ok... so I got me another Commander Cody to customize. Now I was just wonderin from my fellow customizers how would you partake in removing the visor and stuff for repainting and casting.

Also, I found some leathery fabric; but it doesnt quite match to replace my anakin's robes. I need the same material. If anyone knows a place to find it. Please and ty. Already been to jo-ann's. Oh and does anyone know where I can find sheets of the leathery material that's like the stuff used on the TCW ani belt? Again help aprreciated.

on the cody helmet..very carefully with a sharp xacto knife maybe...if you do that..maybe heat it up a bit in some hot water..that way, it would cut easier...

i actually just did that with the bly helmet that you sent me..the pegs on the side pretty much just popped out of the helmet...

I sold my Anakin, but long before I did his vest went to crap, the old lady seamstress at my drycleaners made me a new one out of leather from ladies jackets they had that no one ever came back for. Leather was real and thin and perfect for one sixth. She also made me a custom Sith robe that blew away anything I've ever gotten from SS. Sooo, mat wise, I guess I'd look for ladies used jackets at a second hand store?
