I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not, but I have been trying to research Hot Foil Stamping Machines and I'm coming up dry.
I basically am looking to be ale to do custom packaging for the items I design and sell that feature foil stamped art. I know there are companies that I can source this to, but I like being able to do things myself. My printer I already own can cut on metallic foils and vinyls but I don't want to have to weed a bunch of decals and then stick them on my boxes. With the foil stamping it's much more effective and looks nicer.
When I start by researching on youtube, it's about 2 dozen Chinese factory videos showing their machines, no real reviews of any of them. I then checked out places like amazon and there are probably about a dozen different makes and models, most with 1 rating review which is likely the company selling the product, or no ratings at all.
What I have discovered are there are models that require custom plates to be built, which I do not want, and others that work without plates needed.
Does anyone have experience operating any of these machines or own one?
I'd prefer to stay away from Arts and Crafts level equipment and go with something a little more heavy duty.
This is essentially what I need to be able to do:
