im Wondering if they’ll just do a Death Trooper 2pk. Also a Shoretrooper 2pk with the missing variants

With how well the deathtroopers sold and how they like to reissue it would be in their best interest to release more death troopers with Krennic.

Even if not bundled with him, a 2 pack of deathtroopers like D.R.37 said would be amazing. Some way of allowing people to get a pair now, and not at scalper price.

Just now catching up from the Christmas festivities but this news is insane! I had mostly given up on this but I'm still sitting on a full squad of Death Troopers. Have not been this excited for a figure reveal in awhile!

Lots of different gear and weapons to change things up. Too bad they aren't as easy to pose as some of the other troopers. Anything too dynamic and I'm afraid of damage.

Yeah the only change I’d care about is one to help the articulation.

Maybe HT has learned a trick or two in 2 years to make this one more poseable.

I wonder if there are any differences in Deathtrooper gear when they disembark into the final battle? I'd love something that designates this new potential one with Krennic as a variant.

There’s already a hefty combo available the way they are. It’s the same six squad setup the entire movie.

Long scope/short rifle/hand gun
Pauldron/no pauldron
Detonator belt/ no belt
Range scope head/No scope head

The worst part of them is the midsection, they are tin men unfortunately the way the armor is restricted by the design. Big imposing tin men, but limited flex nonetheless.

Well, unique to my current deluxe. Like short rifle, no scope. I think that was already a regular, right?

Here’s the six. Only six in the entire movie. Except the escort on Death Star and Scarif control center, where he had two.

Left to right on Lah’mu to capture Galen:
1) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
2) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
3) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.
4) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
5) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.
6) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.

They switch to 4 short rifles on Eadu for the Death Star engineers firing squad and two long rifles stand by the shuttle as four execute the engineers. Two long rifles also appear to not have Pauldrons, left them in the ship. So no Pauldrons on Eadu.

Final battle on Scarif, the same six and back to setup from the beginning of the movie on Lah’mu.

Just give me another basic one with short rifle and a range finder on his helmet and I’ll be happy. I don’t need extra ammonpacks, pauldrons, rifles, etc. Just give me one more Death Trooper, not any special editions.
