If there's 6 in the final battle wouldn't that mean there's 8 in the movie as Krennic has 2 with him when he heads down to the archive room and Cassian shoots them.

My guess is that is the inconsistent cut scenes as there were less on the beach from all the promo material when they changed up all the re-dos like leaving out the tie-fighter. The squad was six.

They were available for quite a while and on clearance everywhere for under $200 USD for all three versions by several e-tailers. I got two Deluxe for $180 a piece I believe from Brian’s toys on a sale they had.

Here’s the six. Only six in the entire movie. Except the escort on Death Star and Scarif control center, where he had two.

Left to right on Lah’mu to capture Galen:
1) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
2) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
3) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.
4) Normal head, Pauldron and long rifle, thermal belt
5) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.
6) Range finder, Short rifle regular trooper no pauldrons or Belt.

They switch to 4 short rifles on Eadu for the Death Star engineers firing squad and two long rifles stand by the shuttle as four execute the engineers. Two long rifles also appear to not have Pauldrons, left them in the ship. So no Pauldrons on Eadu.

Final battle on Scarif, the same six and back to setup from the beginning of the movie on Lah’mu.

Looks like the last battle scene is a mix in match. Pauldrons, range finders and long rifles... no pauldrons, range finders, and long rifles, no range finders and short rifles... I think this is where HT got there reference for the 3 versions they put out. I prefer the the opening Lah’mu scene myself. Krennic and 6 troopers with that weapon/gear setup. All I need is Krennic (ala rain gear) another regular and another specialist. If he’s released as a deluxe with the gear I’m definitely getting 2 more troopers and start working on a dio.

You are correct they did change up, looks like they had the four short rifle and two long as well as the deluxe version with the range finder and pauldron look. This apprears to be like the HT sample as that is the only place the range finder, pauldron and long rifle appears.

Also, how bad *** is Baze taking out all six. Impressive.......( fill in the blank)

They were ace shots when they stepped off that Tie Reaper but just sat and watched Baze hobble across the beach to his boy Chirrut. Every time I see that scene I’m like anyone wanna at least send one over his head? C’mon
Goodbyes over... Baze back in the game... DTs droppin like flies.

I swear Rouge One has brought Stormtroopers to the new level of uesless meat shields. I felt pity for those enlisted as Stormtroopers to secure peace and justice under Galatic Empire name lol.

If they release a DT with him I'd just want them to give all the stuff for all options. I thought it was pretty crappy how they did it the first time. These are $200+ figures, just throw the accessories in.
