I don't think you'll get anywhere close to that with the figure. I'd like to see what people are going to be able to do with the IW version as far as the articulation goes.

Well I didn't really mean the legs and off center part of it. But more the arms.

Anyway he still will look awesome !

That statue always bugs me whenever I see it, mainly due to the amount of skin it shows on his torso. I mean IW implied he's wearing the outfit he has in that movie beneath all the armor, but here it's like he's completely naked underneath the plating!

As for articulation, I'd be very surprised if the figure can get anywhere near this. The presence of the armored version's shoulderpads doesn't make it look like he'll be able to move his arms up and out beyond what we see in the official images. Maybe if you're somehow able to shift and rotate the arm underneath the armor like you can do with some figures.

Is it just me but the Hot Toys’ description describes his “costume” as gold and purplish blue but it seems like Thanos is wearing gold and black ...
Costume:

One (1) newly tailored purplish blue and metallic gold-colored armor with trim details and battle damages
One (1) pair of gold-colored armored boots with weathering effects

So my question then is can we expect a slight color variation in the final version of this figure or are my eyes just messed up?

Probably lighting. It’s most likely a very dark bluish purple that can look black in some lighting.

Anybody have experience with site Go Figure Collectibles in Australia? I’ve only bought the very first Hulk from them and my memory was the service was decent.

I think they only ship local but they have recently introduced loyalty rewards and seem to be amping up their commitment to Hot Toys. Introductory deal is 10% off which makes both this and Iron Man good deals and the shipping is free. Like I said pretty sure they don’t ship international.

If it were to be movie accurate, the details should be black. If you check it at the big opening scene in infinity war or in gamora's olanet, that is how it looks. Perhaps they changed the color for endgame a bit, which is an option

Thanks for the input guys!

Actually I hope that there is some dark bluish color on him visible in Endgame. I have already ordered this figure but it I would like this figure even more if there is some blue on Thanos because it would be more similar to his appearance in the comics and the GOTG version. Even as is this is looking like it will be my favorite Hot Toy figure
