The nutjobs and people trying to show that they're nuts have blended together! This thread has turned to ____! Hurry up, hot toys and put out the official pics so we can make a new one and get off this merry go round!!!!

:huh Nobody's whining about this figure. I haven't read of anybody saying it's crap. Just discussing what they think might make it more accurate in their eyes. Pretty civil in fact...until now.

:exactly: Whining official begins once the PS police invade the thread with inaccurate mock ups.

Well, some may or may not have valid points with some tiny nits, but I am absolutely delighted with both 89 Bats and Joker - they were obviously crafted with loving attention to detail, HT is determined to make these as close to perfect as humanly possible and it shows. I cannot wait to have them in my collection! (and if it's financially possible, the Batmobile will join them - wish we new the price points on these so I could plan accordingly!)

Here's what his jaw really looks like:

Yep, the HT jaw sculpt is off, Keaton's chin is pretty recognizible when wearing the mask. Biliken did a great job sculpting it accurately. Lips could use a little tweaking too, but other than that

THIS THING LOOKS BADASS.

Especially the heavy-looking cape.

HT still waitng the approval of this figure, so no spec and pic in a few week? :panic:

I definitely see Keaton in the face but I don't see Keaton's Batman. As Wor-Gar has already pointed out, Keaton's jowels were squished forward in the mask distorting his jaw line. Unfortunately it looks like HT just worked off of Keaton headshots an not shots of how Keaton looks in the mask. Is it a dealbreaker? No (though I'm guessing some TDK nutbags will use it as a source for lynching). Is it an oversight that shouldn't have been overlooked, especially for a one-shot? Absolutely. But that aside, it's flawless.

Nam why did you post a pic of your stomach on here? l knew you were weird.

Tattoo artist was working from a pic of your face, you like? :D

I think it's funny how collecting for some has gotten to the point that if its not perfect people have to complain.

More like "pathetic".

:lecture:exactly:

I mean even if the face sculpt was off (i think its fantastic) its going to be kept on a shelf that at most time will be at least 4 feet away from you and only at times will you stand close enough to even tell any likeness issues (that i can't see).

But hey these guys may have magnifying glass installed in their detolfs and display cases. :dunno
