I can't believe I didn't notice this thread was blowing up all day...

Instant buy, it looks ____ing amazing.

No not much of a resemblance, but if that is your stomach l don't see any bruises from you playing Airsoft.:lol

Mine was better.

Not really, and if you laughed at your own joke, not only would that be pretty damn pathetic, but you'd have been the only one to have done so. :huh

pay for college books or get hot toys Batman and Joker? hmmmm decisions. I can buy different books the next semester. These guys are once in pale moon light!

Do you think these figures will be released at the same time? Or think Hot Toys is smart and takes into account that if they drain their customers pockets too fast, or they just don't give a damn?

Probably don't care, but HT are starting to compete with thier own products as customers cancel one to get another one :slap

Other than Mime Joker i can't see the need for anymore, i meant the Partyman Joker is just the hat and flesh-face, oh and "i'm melting" face added to this joker fig.

Thats all she wrote for '89 Joker, Ledger had more costumes to merchandise

Fig looks great! Lucky Me that I'm not a fan of Keaton's Bat

Yeah, Mime (as a toy show Ex) and maybe a Napier figure. Other than that, I don't see any and I don't really think a Napier would be that good of a sell (other than the HS for custom fodder).

If sales slowed that would be one thing but from Hot Toys POV they're not exactly stuck with warehouses full of unwanted Batman figures. Retailers sell out of their stock. It's really up to the customer to budget appropriately, no?

I'm not saying that to be a smartass. I have limited toy resources myself. I just see more collectors express interest in HT being more productive if anything. Complaints about delays, complaints about other licenses "eating up resources," "why haven't they announced ____ yet?" etc.

I'd rather get these close together and use the long lead-up time to make sure my funds are good and ready.

Good Point. I'll just have to put away a good little pocket of dough away for these 2 and wait like a good overgrown child. :panic:

^^ the only problem with that logic is everything between now and then and everything else hitting around the same time.

How's your willpower?

I know it was alot better because you take it so personally and almost cried last time l mentioned Airsoft, (it not being as fun and not leaving bruises like paintball).:lecture

Anyway back to Batman.

fear and nam, you two should put each other on ignore. Pretty sure I am not the only one who feels this way.

(but for the record fear, I never saw a burn from you so how was yours better? It was douchesque and smelled of asshattery ... but it was never a burn by any stretch of the imagination. :dunno)

How's you willpower?

I like to think i have a decently strong willpower. Lucikly The past 3 Pirates movies made me lose Interest in HT Jack Sparrow DX. Saw HT spidey in hand the other day and was able to put him down and walk out of the shop without him, of course the next day i bought the Sweeney Todd figure. And my dad and girlfriend talked me out getting The Avatar Jake Scully figure (Still wanted it tho) but These 2 guys i think are worth holding off on other stuff. I've been collecting the Sideshow Universal Monsters (most of them are on the cheap end still) with my dad recently to satisfy my thirst... but who knows :gah:

I only buy figures that are significant to me. I only see a problem if you're the kind of person that needs to get everything just because it exists. I think the Sucker Punch figures look cool but the movie doesn't resonate with me so there's no willpower involved. I like Iron Man but I don't need every armor. It's different for everyone but a lot of people get caught up in the hype.

This license is HUGE for me. It makes it even easier to skip other figures.

Actually, no I didn't. It was late, I was on a conference call to HK and just didn't feel like dealing with you ignorantly trolling the hell out of my profession (which is considered a personal attack). No hard feelings bunky, but you just weren't worth the infraction and still aren't. :wave

I'm a little less in control than you, YoNoSe. I usually only buy figs from films i like, the trouble is i like most films :lol

Amd sometimes the character design will just grab me, despite the film.

All other upcoming HT releases are an easy pass compared to these two. :lecture

Pretty much.

Right there's a case of a movie I love and a beaut of a figure but I just don't have the $200 to blow at the moment so it's not even a real temptation. But I don't begrudge HT for making it available now....they're just toys, after all, right? At the moment I'm more focused on collecting money. :lol
