but this figure makes me want to watch it again because I have the same feelings now that I did during the pre-release marketing blitz in '89. I can't believe how awesome this is...I knew the suit held a special place in my heart from that time period, but man...I didn't know how big a spot it had.

i hear ya on that...we've yet to see a blitz like that since...it was crazy, loved it!

I almost feel these should be in one thread... both threads become "Batman and Joker this..." threads anyway.

Anyone else wish there was shot of the cape folded over his shoulders like the infamous shot of him by the Batmobile?

I worry you can't do that since it looks wired for the bat wing look...

He also needs a damaged emblem... since the BD face looks like it's after the crash.

After seeing these pics it looks much better, but still not as good as Joker.

I will have this figure and the Joker... they are my childhood, many fond memories!

Amazing job!!! Can't wait to get my hands on this with the Nicholson Joker. Wow....looks like my collection is turning into another direction. First it was mostly Star Wars items, then slowly Marvel PFs, now it's mostly Hot Toys super-hero/movie figures. Awesome!!!

It wasn't. It was originally to be used in the original scene in the Belltower when Batman faced off against the Joker alone. When the scene was rewritten to include Vicki being kidnapped the prop was no longer needed.
