I'm going to try to completely wash it right now and update you, I wasn't home so couldn't do it.

The one I have is the "Tech cowl + Sniper" version, though I don't think there should be any difference with the regular version, it's exactly the same figure.. maybe it's from an earlier batch and it stood in the box too long? Anyway going to try the washing thing

Are you guys sure you've gotten it all COMPLETELY off? Mine looked like it was going to leave a shiny spot after I got the obvious goo off but it was actually just more residue.

ive never actually thought of it like that, but I'm fairly sure it's left a shiny spot behind. Maybe I'll try giving it another rub. Heh.

Mine had a tiny scratch on the top on the cowl and i rubbed it off. It didnt leave a shiny spot so maybe it is some kind of residue.

Thank you very much, water worked like a charm. The first two pictures were taken before applying water, managed to get rid of the shiny parts

Finally someone showing us the issue..thanks..hmm looks like glue residue, should be able to rub off with some water with soap and a little bit of rubbing alcohol

Use a qtip guys, there won't be a shine

FINALLY... I got in on a un-exclusive one from BBTS when it popped back on as Pre-Order on BBTS on Oct.27, and I finally got the notice that they're processing the order. Can't wait! Thanks everyone for the awesome pics and inspiration!

Does the cowl detach from the body like a regular sculpt? I'm gonna be getting a custom cape and want to take the stock one off.

Just wanting to make sure so I don't damage it.

Yes the cape is glued underneath the cowl by a small dab of glue, easily can separate the cape from the cowl and reglue
