Hot Toys Display Preference

Getting the new Hot Toys Indiana Jones in less than a week. Super excited!!!

Wondering, do you display your Hot Toys on their stands or no? Why or why not? ty

I think I agree. I mean, I know who Indiana Jones is, who doesn't? So they don't really tell you that much. Think they just look cooler by themselves too.

I display them with the stands. Not because I like them very much (though some are quite ok like BD Endo, Pred 1 etc.) but because I prefer the safe way.

I display with stands, one time I didn't but I kept finding figures on there face's, no damage but I didn't want to wait for something to happen before changing it back but I actually quite like the HT stands with the name plaque's.

Well, i showed barney ross to my wife once, and asked her whether she know if its stallone, turns out she didnt know, so do not ask another collector but ask outsider to justify if the headsculpt really good or not.

Good point. Yea, my HT Jill Valentine fell on her face so much. eughh

With stands.. don't want to take any chances with it noise diving onto the floor and breaking.. which would force me to purchase another one.

Well, considering the fact that the first 1/6 figure I had (which I was pretty darn sure was stable and balanced) ended up taking a nose dive, and having the knee snapped it's pretty easy to tell. This forced me to buy a new body for the figure. So, yeah, always use stands.

Those bodies generic bodies they sell are used to replace old ones? I can see getting the clothes of Indiana Jones but the hell would you get them off the BSAA Jill Valentine with super-tight pants?

I use stands. It's like a little museum with tags and all. I prefer the look of it.

Always stands for me . They are too expensive to have them fall over and get broken .

I display with the stands and I prefer the HT diorama style display stands like P1. But I also like the ones with the name and movie title on them as well. Very neat.

No stands for me. I take my time to pose them to make sure they stand firmly. Haven't had a figure fall over in a very long time.

I usually stick to stands, but lately i've posed a few without, but thats in a cabinet with more sturdy feet, so i can jump and and down next to it and the cabinet wont budge or shake at all.

I have them all in cases, so I don't really need stands for the majority of them. However, I had to put the Predators figures with the boot feet on stands. They're very prone to falling over.

With stands. Looks 1000% better. Plus others have said, less risk for breakage.

Seems most of you go with stands. Think I'll try it. Yea, wouldn't want my ____ing $250 Indiana Jones to break. That's $250, wow!

Haven't displayed all my HT yet since I haven't bought any cabs yet (all my funds goes to my POs ) but someday, I'll display them using those stands for the same reason.
