Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

I watched Batman last night in HD. The production belt is actually pretty screen accurate. The original more metallic 'gold' on the pro to was incorrect. I think he looks amazing, As much as I admire OMG's photo's I think the ones posted a page or so back are really impressive.

Which is as it should be.

He's suppose to be Batman, not Michael Keaton.

Regardless, I'm cool with Superman being taller.

You don't need a stupid custom cape, and none would ever match the awesome look of the stock cape anyhow. The shoulders are very puffy in OMG's photos, true, but that's not the case in everyone's photos.

The belt is just fine, I suggest Martin-el you go and watch the movie again. It is yellow, just like the HT version. As for the cape, The only way to better it in 1/6th scale would be have a single sheet of that fake leather vinyl that was used in the custom versions people have been doing for years. The HT one will futz amazingly, I'm pretty sure of that.

They aren't 'heads', but are little vacuum formed containers that look like cowls from the front. Nifty way to store the other two faces safely!

So what about that suit? It's a great sculpt, with a clean black color. And it's NOT rubber, at least not like some of the previous suits and pieces that have had trouble. It feels more like a dry vinyl for want of a better description. It actually feels dry - there's no greasy surface or texture. It's obviously not the same material, so I'm betting this is Hot Toys answer to the problems we've seen previously.

Thanks for pointing that out. I too face my figures to the wall and upsidedown as well. Cancelled this cheap looking plastic toy. Can't notsoHot Toys do anything right????

i cant get enough of the pics...absolutely stunning work by HT. the fact that these got made make me very happy. and to hear that HT actually used a different material for the suit is also excellent news.

the paint apps are stunning...they really out did themselves with the likeness...which considering you need to nail cause its only a mouth and chin and eyes. what a win for 89 fans!!
