But Wolvie had the rubber I believe, as did T2 T-800, while T1 T-800, Bruce Lee, and Barney Ross had the PVC-type material. The PVC material would be much preferable to me.

T1 and T2 feel the same to me? :huh

In fact, the shell stuff kind of has a slight smell to it, sort of like marijuana. I own 2 of the T2s and 3 of the Tech Noirs and each have that distinct smell. :lol

It was pretty funny. :lol

Not that I disagree. To that end, I only pre-ordered Batman for now. I'm not past the Joker sticker shock quite yet.

I, too, have only Pre-Ordered Batman, I'm not as shocked at Joker's price as I thought I'd be. Was I surprised? Certainly. Am I going to whine about it? Nope. The only reason I haven't PO'ed Joker yet is because I have to put my NRD in the bank first.:lol

I just checked and you're right. Not sure why I thought that. Wolvie also seems to feel different than previous rubber bodies, though it feels a bit differently than the T-800s.

May just have to get this ...I'd display this in a totally neutral position anyway (arms by sides with cape over them) so not worried about rubber wear and tear from posing.

I need an opinion from you guys. I dont have any Hot Toys Batman but I do have a Bale Batman on PO. Now the Keaton one comes out.. Which one should I get?

I'd go with Bale, then turn around and sell it for $500 and put that money torwards 89 Batman and Joker.:wink1:

Look how short Michael Keaton is compared to Jack, not sure if is the angle of the pic, but l heard Keaton isn't very tall.

Anyway l am in love with this fig, but am not sure now when it comes to the rubber. I know the arms and legs are rubber, but It looks like the whole thing might be rubber, head, chest, i'm not sure. There is no reason in my opinion why this figure couldn't be all plastic with joints in the arms and knees, they would still be hidden well. Im rethinking now.

The OC Batman has no leaking issue whatsoever, so not every HT rubber leaks. Leonidas is as dry as our 5 month long drought in Houston.

Also the folded back cape look everyone is asking about...they had maybe three different cowl and cape combo for the movie prop so thats why the folded back pic with the Batmobile looks so FOLDED.

The regular scalloped mask and hanging cape that comes with this DX cannot achieve that look even if you fold it back.

It's not just the leaking; rubber deteriorates quicker than you think. See the HT Alien Kane and Dallas figures for example...

PO'd this. i dont care if the rubber will deteriorate in 10 yrs or so, you want something permanent and forever, buy a diamond. this is something you can't pass up on.

Toys2 has them up. I don't believe thats been mentioned, had a look through the past 20 or so pages.

Joker 249.99
Batman 224.99

I'll order mine in a few hours.....but will I order 2 Batmans????

Its the classic 1989 Keaton Batman and it just looks too good not to order at least one. For now I'm not bothering myself about rubber worries....although if we're talking a one piece suit I guess that pose with the cape splayed into the batwings is not a viable long term posing option...

Keaton's Batman inspired the animated series, and the creation of some of the most iconic music of the franchise. I don't think that anyone can truly call themselves a Batman fan without owning this figure.
