Well if you can't see the differences you're probably good sticking with your DX09

The cowl and mouths are completely new - but the body from there down looks identical; if it has a new body with ratcheted joints underneath the suit that would be a huge improvement but we won't know that until the figure releases and people have it in-hand. The cape is also all-new and appears much improved but as you said you've already picked up a 3rd party option so you're good there.

The only difference I can see is the battle damaged one which I will likely never use and I actually didn't notice it until I hit post on my message. The other two look basically the same to me. This figure is one of my favorites and I would be really ticked at myself for not picking it up if it's a good improvement in the head, body & suit.

Hop to the 6:30 mark in this video and compare it to your DX09 figure in hand and I think you’ll see that it’s entirely different. If you still can’t see the difference then I wouldn’t lose any sleep over sticking with your DX09

Noticed my cape had slipped a bit on one side today so went to take the head off & it came off but accompanied by a satisfying cracking sound, but not in a good way.
Literally most of the inside of the head came away.
Iv had this since release & in one museum pose since new, never even attempted to move the eyes as I’d heard the horror stories.
Anyway I moved the pers left to right very gently & they immediately broke too.
As the plastic insides were broken it was easy to access the eyes themselves & adjust them as I’d like.
The head also sits on fine without the neck piece too, so out of this disaster I’m happy with how it looks & that I know I can change the eye positions now.
That & Iv got the 2.0 on pre order

just picked up a used DX09 from the marketplace and really thrilled with how it looks, even though i have the reissue on pre-order too. he looks so good emerging from the smoke and shadows

Anyone here getting the P1/Blitzway 1989 1/3 Batman?

As a 1989 hardcore fan I wish but there is a psychological price I just can’t consider.
I could consider it but I will have probably to sell all my HT Batman Figures + Jazzinc Batmobile.
And I’m not 100% confident with Prime 1 when it comes to their production pieces VS prototypes.

Even a decade later, it’s still a fantastic figure. Still my favorite!

Hey Rondesmo, which one of the 2 hot toys 89 Batman figures did you have in it's box for 10 years, and did it have any damage to it for being in it's box for so long?

Regular was bought in 2013 and on display between 2015 and 2018.
Custom Battle Damaged was bought in 2015 and never left its box since.
Both are mint as day 1.

I’ve said it before, but that battle damaged version is absolutely fantastic

I sold both this and Returns years go. I might pick this one up whenever it's available, even though I barely collect anything anymore.
