I'm paying HT for a cape, I expect it screen accurate out the box and I rather not spend extra on a custom if I don't have to. :exactly:

TDK line failed at this but it looks like HT didn't drop the ball with this one. :yess:

Raise you hand if you will by buying a custom cape for 89 Batman.

Silence :lol

:wave:wave

:lol Can't argue.

I see no need to replace this cape. In fact, the material is so unique I find it hard to believe that it could be improved on.

L.

Forigno.

That is all.

My thought exactly. Cost enough as it is.

That guy is super unreliable. I'm still waiting for him to ship stuff from 2004. :impatient:

Hell's mail system sucks and the delivery people are soooooooo slow...

I heard that this was an issue when Ghost Rider came out.

I'm pretty sure they have GR in-stock

I buy all my figs from OSB and have never ordered anything from collectables direct as they always seem more expensive.

The only thing bad about OSB is the rather large non-refundable deposit, i understand the need for it as its a small business, but with the sheer amount of HT coming i am very hesitant to lay down a huge deposit when interest my fade upon the preview of something bigger and better, or at least something more individual to the collector.

Until i know what is coming in the 1st qtr i will wait on ordering this through OSB becuase if it comes to it, i may want MGS, X-Men and GL more than this.

To be honest I don't want to make a cape for this. I hope it looks this good out of the box.

But thank the maker for your BB/TDK capes or we would've been stuck with goofy capes for that line :hi5:

Man, I kind of wish there was one thread for both of these figures. Half of everything I post pertains to both!

Prices for these figures being what they are, the only way I can justify buying them is to part with my Nolan-era Batman and Joker. I had to debate which era I preferred, but having grown up with '89 Batman it won out. Burton's Batman was in fact the first movie I ever saw at a theater, actually. That alone seems reason enough to have the '89 Batman and Joker be the only ones in my collection.

I wish for that too. Only because I've accidentally posted in the wrong thread like 4 or 5 times.

Me too man, or at least it's the first movie I ever remember seeing in the theater.

I had to pre-order both of these. HT has me a bit hooked. I also think the batmobile will be a must. That thing looks awesome.

Im pretty blown away by this figure. When I first saw Jack I thought either way Id more than likely end up liking him more that Batman but now that I see this Im really having a hard time deciding which one I like more. You cant buy one, you have to get both. At least thats what Im trying to tell my wife.:lol How fast do things usually sell out at SSC? I know this is a stupid question because it depends on the product but I figured Id ask anyway. I see Superman is still on Pre-Order, I thought he would be sold out by now.

:lol now that you mention it, I guess the last time I received shipment from him was also in 2004. Damn! :impatient:

Yeah I think you got to get both. I can't imagine having one or the other, honestly. Which is a bigger part of what makes the pricing such a _____! :monkey2

Sideshow hasn't been selling out of figures lately; I've read others who suspect the same as me, which is that Hot Toys is no longer limiting quantities and will just manufacture however many pre-orders their distributors receive. It's an open tab, it seems.
