As far as this figure goes, it actually turned out better than I thought it would. It looks pretty imposing and has a lot of shelf presence. However, while I do like TDK films, I’m not an avid enough fan to care to upgrade to this from DX12, as while there are improvements, they seemingly aren’t drastic. The biggest one is obviously the height difference, which actually turned out to be more than I thought it’d be. To me it appears to come mostly in the legs, consequently making the DX12’s legs look short and stumpy while conversely making the DX19’s legs look long and lanky. Could also just be me, but it seems to me they may have given him too much chest bulk, which while it makes for an imposing presence on the shelf, I don’t recall him looking that barrel chested.
Definitely seemingly TDK figure to go for though if one already doesn’t have one.
