Is the Begins cape the same? Apart from how they attach obviously.

Watching Justin's review I'm glad HT finally got his eye colour right. Just need to find the right body and suit to use with the BW sculpt.

The begins is the same material but a completely different shape so that it can drape better.

If there was enough interest, $25 dollars plus shipping for a rayon cape. I prefer rayon to velvet in this scale. Just my own opinion

I think he stopped collecting. I think after he modded his last Batman figure he was done. And if he came back to the hobby, he probably just didn’t come back to the board. But you’re right, he did a lot of great poses and pics.

Here are some really old photos of my DX12 capes. I’ll be using the same material which is the blackest custom cape out there as confirmed by several customers with competitor’s capes.

I need to reassess the template once I get the DX19. Since I want it to bunch up at the collar correctly and just graze the ground in the back it needs to be pretty precise.

I’ll make the new ones available as in stock in batches on my site.

Do you ship internationally? Also any intention of doing another run of QS009 capes someday?

Those videos on the Hot Toys Facebook page are pretty cringe. The American voice reading the broken English is silly. I assume that's an AI voice reading, otherwise someone should've corrected the grammar. Couldn't Sideshow have just proofread their script first?

I would be willing to make more capes if there was enough interest. It's too much of a pain doing them for just a handful.

Just kitbashed a Bane using M34 body. This will pair really well given the size!

Oh damn, lforigno back in the house. I still have his cape on my DX12.

As far as this figure goes, it actually turned out better than I thought it would. It looks pretty imposing and has a lot of shelf presence. However, while I do like TDK films, I’m not an avid enough fan to care to upgrade to this from DX12, as while there are improvements, they seemingly aren’t drastic. The biggest one is obviously the height difference, which actually turned out to be more than I thought it’d be. To me it appears to come mostly in the legs, consequently making the DX12’s legs look short and stumpy while conversely making the DX19’s legs look long and lanky. Could also just be me, but it seems to me they may have given him too much chest bulk, which while it makes for an imposing presence on the shelf, I don’t recall him looking that barrel chested.

Definitely seemingly TDK figure to go for though if one already doesn’t have one.

Yeah I'm not totally sold on the new figure's proportions either. I just measured my Armory version and compared him with various other figures, and he's already up there with my Indys, Neo, and other characters a little over 6 feet tall. It's only when you measure him against the gigantic Batfleck or certain Marvel figures like Cap that he seems on the small side. But those figures have always been a bit oversized anyway.
