Nice pics, and great looking Snoke! Did you sculpt that yourself, or was it customized from some other action figure?

Thank you! I sculpted Snoke myself; he's all from scratch. Here's a couple more pics. These show more of Snoke.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Very much appreciated!

What an brilliant scene that was!

I watched the throne room scenes a lot when sculpting Snoke, and I was afraid that I'd lose some of my admiration for them after so much over-saturation. NOPE! Ain't happening. :lol

These scenes were some of my favorites in the entire saga. Even before the Rey/Kylo/PG fight, the part early in the film where Snoke belittles a kneeling Kylo to make him angrier is one that I love too. Watching Snoke play on Kylo's emotions with such mastery was great.

My favorite SW sequence since the OT is watching Kylo use his grandfather's lightsaber to kill Snoke (the one who was trying to make him emulate his grandfather, and turn him into a new Vader), and then watching that lit lightsaber float down screen until Rey's hand reaches up from the bottom of the frame to grab it. Then she and Kylo look at each other, turn back to back, and take on the PG as we watch the wide-angle view. Perfect!! I'll never forget how I felt watching that play out in the theater, and I now know that there's no such thing for me as watching it too many times. :lol I still find it so insanely awesome!

I agree! I've watched TLJ a few times at home now (only once in the theater), and every time I get to that part of the movie, and particularly that very scene you describe of the lightsaber killing Snoke, then flying towards the screen and Kylo, and Rey's hand reaching up to catch it, I have a HUGE smile on my face and think to myself, "how can anyone NOT like this?!?" And then when Rey realizes Kylo is not turning good, and that whole exchange between the two of them, is SO heartbreaking and heartfelt, especially, "...but not to me". I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it! SO AMAZING!

I've loved SW ever since I watched it when I was around 5 when it first came out, and I've enjoyed the hell out of the sequels!

That throne room scene is one of the most epic Star wars scene.

The Last Jedi is my favourite Star Wars movie, honestly that Snoke sculpt is really amazing for doing DIY. I only have one Praetorian Guard, thinking of getting another one though, but that price for other stuff I'd rather get instead.

Do you have any progress pics or a guide on how you did it?

I don't have many progress pics, and this isn't the proper thread for getting too detailed about the Snoke custom, but I'm posting a pic below that illustrates 3 stages of the head sculpt process. I used oven-bake clay and porcelain eyeballs. It starts rough and lacking details, then gets sharper, and then I add more "mass" and finer details. The last (far right) image shows the baked head which I molded. I took a resin casting and sculpted the rest of the neck/chest area onto the casting with air-dry compound and put it on a regular male torso. Then built longer limbs, attached them to the figure's joints, and sewed him a robe.

I like you lol. The Last Jedi and Empire are my two favourite Star Wars movies and my two favourite movies of all time

TLJ and ESB are also my favorites. TLJ might have a slight edge because it has more character depth, but ESB is so elegantly done, and the storytelling is top notch. I can't wait to see what JJ does with Episode IX.

I kinda go back and forth, while I like certain movies over others of course. I still watch and enjoy them all. While I grew up with the prequels and I loved them more as a kid, I really don't now as lots of people don't. Do I still like watching them and enjoying them? Yep. Waiting for my PT pre-orders to arrive in like a year tho lol. I really wish the Kylo and Island Luke figures would hurry up tho, Kylo was pushed back for some unknown reason. But they did release the final production photos of it so hopefully soon?
