The fan boy comment was in reference to you generalizing all Star Wars fans, I even quoted the comment, but HONESTLY, that portion wasn't 100% directed just to you, in general I've seen a couple people whos attitude seems to be don't come into a thread if you don't 100% like the product, but you had just insulted another member in a thread by saying he was either a troll or "just didn't understand", so you were probably feeling it 100% was aimed at you.
If you want to keep it on topic, then stay on topic and stop trying to make people post the way you like. Making fun of Star Wars fans in a generalized statement hits at a lot of people at once, playing the martyr doesn't help your cause after you had just accused naseco of being a troll or being to dense to understand a Star Wars movie. Everything is time stamped, cry me a river when you threw the first rock to insult people because they don't agree with you.
You just need to decide if you want every conversation your in to devolve into finger pointing or you want to talk about figures.
First of all, I'm a Star Wars fan - so I'm including myself in that generalization. Have you never heard the phrase, "No one hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans"? It's honestly true. I'm not saying people are unable to dislike anything, I could care less. I just think it's funny that for the last year or two, the main complaint from many Star Wars fans (including myself) is that TFA was too similar. And now that we are getting some new things introduced, whether it be the Supremacy, the nuns, guards (which I realize are similar to the Royal Guards), etc.. a lot of those same people are complaining that these things do not look like they belong in Star Wars. I'm not saying that's how you or anyone else specifically feel, but that is the reality of many Star Wars fans that are unhappy with x,y,z.
Your comment was certainly directed enough at me for it to be considered a personal attack and to be offensive, which is why I found it hypocritical that you started calling me out suddenly for responding to people who were insulting me just for my opinion.
I said that I liked the design. I was insulted by you and a few other posters soon after saying that I was a blind fan boy POS, that my definition of "awesome" was stupid, that I was blinded by nostalgia, etc.
So apparently it's fine for anyone to **** on other people's opinions, unless they conflict with yours.
In that other thread, not only did you respond to my post wondering if he was trolling with a non-combative response, there were a few others that either wondered the same or made similar comments. Again, you single me out. And if he didn't like the movie, good for him. I was honestly wondering if he was trolling because he referred to Rey as Kylo's twin sister and some other stuff that seemed pretty obvious to me watching the movie once, such as Kylo intentionally not being a huge badass.
Everyone does their fair share of complaining, arguing, etc. Yet you've singled me out and you've done a fair share of trying to personally insult me, which is contradictory to you saying people should just talk about the figures and not the people.
So if you're going to preach that people should act a certain way, you should do that as well.
I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore because it's completely pointless and clearly we have different opinions. But you can't really expect me to just take all of your insults for saying I like something, and not respond. There's no reason that I should just let people insult me personally for an opinion I have on a figure, including people calling me a piece of **** fan boy or that I'm blinded and have a skewed perspective. And yes, I realize the same can be said for people that insult someone for disliking something.
