Man, that is a fantastic figure all around. I don't see anything bad about it. Great looking paint aps, nice hair detail and clothes. The boots are a nice touch, hope to see HT make more the same way.

Great review, and great figure! That outfit could totally be used to kitbash a Jedi with Japanese flair.

Sadly, this figure (and the others in the line) might be overlooked by people on this side of the pacific.

Great review wookster. I'm seriously interested in this line but only if i can get them cheap. I just cant justify the outlay on figures outside of my collection themes:(
The boots seem to be an interesting innovation. Whats your thoughts on the long term durability in the ankle area?

Yeah, theres definetly a off duty Samurai feel to the Jedi outfits, and that comes through here as well, and you're right about their popularity, but it's a shame as the whole set look like they're going to be outstanding.

Only time will tell. I'm hoping they're silicone, as then they'll last forever (with care), if rubber, who knows?

Give this figure a Jedi Cloak and we have an Asian-looking Jedi without the need to spend much effort.

Overall this is a great looking figure.

Yeah, he looks like a Hispanic version of the Japanese actor. Kickass, can't wait for Saizo and Chacha.

Cheers, but it's one of those cases where the figure does all the work. I just point and click, then write about how cool it is.

Well, Sideshow's stock is sold out, so at least some people on this side of the Pacific seem to know a killer fig when they see one...:D

Yeah I noticed that SS had sold all of theirs when I was reseaching 'where to buy', but I wonder how many they ordered. I can't see these being made (or sold) in TDK or Iron-Man numbers.
But collectors know a cool figure when they see one!

Yeah, as I said in the review he looks like one of the Knights of the Old Republic from the Dark Horse Tales of the Jedi comics.

I picked this one up too and love it! Very nicely done... Can't wait to get Saizo and I'll definitely be picking up the Kamui Gaiden figure as well. Great pics Wook, you really show the paint detail well in your photos...

Cheers saintsyn and inuka, I can't wait for the Saizo Kirigakure, evilalive's pics make me realise how much Goemon needs a foe.
And I've been lacking a Ninja for some time, I have a couple of Samurai, but I need some 'silent assassin' action!

Spoiler for movie/plot spoiler
Seen the movie. Saizo is not actually a foe, more of a friend to Goemon. Saizo and Goemon could actually change heads....Try to combine Saizo and Goemon's swords end to end..
