Definitely going to try to snag this one even though TWS look is my preferred. The hair isn't entirely styled accurately but hopefully that can be futzed with some work. Headsculpt looks like a modified version of a custom sculpt I've seen and it wouldn't surprise me given that's what they did for Artisan TDK Joker. Not a fan that HT is trying out the magnetic stands but hopefully they've got a better connection than InArt. Sucks that there's no sculpted hair option though.

Lastly, how they hid the cut of the boot for ankle articulation is pretty well done.

From what I've heard about custom figures that have been using this wool hair for years, it doesn't react like the Hot Toys hair we are used to.

I was wondering if they are using that new plastic that they used on the Daredevil boots that is very mobile. No split cut required. If not, why the hell aren't they using it on all figures now?

About time Hot Toys revisit a classic MCU Black Widow character design.

My #1 pick would’ve been Avengers 1 or TWS, but this is #3 fav Widow look, so I’m more than happy. Crazy how good it looks. I remember when the Black Widow solo movie version came out, I was really underwhelmed. But this? Dayum. Easy cop. Looks like I’m finally getting my first Black Widow in the collection!

The ankle joint might be like that of Yelena with the sort of enlarged wrist joint look instead of a ball joint which are a little difficult to articulate in my experience. Might explain why there isn’t much movement

Yeah I think this is Ok, while still not cheap, at least you secured it without having to go into the lottery queue. Also while Sideshow price maybe cheaper, after import fees/tax for people like us in the UK, the price will work out pretty close.
