There's a entire back log of figures that they have teased and not announced yet. Kinda the whole reason for people *****ing at HT for constantly putting out figures like Broke Back Tony instead of other figures that should have been announced by now.

My annoyance with them taking so long to announce these figures is that the longer it takes, the higher the price tag will be. Had this been out when the Mark VI came out, this could have been at the $200-$300 range but now I see it being close to $500. :slap
Honestly I don't think it will be more than $350 or so. ED-209 is $400 and a much larger piece.

[Super Late] Edit: Other thing I meant to mention, earlier, is that I'm familiar with the kevetching from fans of other properties in regards to stuff HT has previously teased (say Prometheus or Arkham Batman) but I don't recall them actively displaying those pieces at every tradeshow they're at, like they do Whiplash Mark II (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though). This piece is pretty high profile and from a white hot property, so they obviously have every incentive to at least get it up for PO, even if they set the release date 12 months out (and then delay it close to release -- no-one would be surprised). The fact that they don't have the confidence to do that is what makes me wonder what the hold-up is.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Whiplash MK2 will be priced similarly to the MK42 diecast, ~$310. The MK42 has a fair amount of extra parts compared to the diecast WM MK2 to justify its higher price.

From the previews so far it doesn't look like Whiplash is going to come with anything extra. Hot Toys is using the figure's suit itself as the accessory / selling point (similar to General Zod's higher MSRP).

I would be fine with any price under $350. I have nothing on PO at the moment and really don't see anything coming out that will interest me from Hot Toys for awhile :thud:

Maaan, with how Iron Man crazy Hot Toys can be, I can't believe this hasn't been officially announced yet!

I think about 329 usd or so. .. Thats what my guess is...

This is the only IM-related figure I care about. I hope HT releases it soon as sometimes HT and SSC's only excuse to raise prices is time.

Saved a few bucks for this already, though.

Agreed. Really the only Marvel character at all I'm concerned with, and Iron Man was never a favourite of mine, growing-up. It's just so nicely done and such a beautiful design it could be in any Marvel/techy display, as far as I'm concerned. So long as the price is not astronomical, I'm in. Wish I had more money as this is one of those pieces (like MILK War Machine) where if I could, I'd get a second just to keep MIB as a back-up.

Yeah. This and War Machine 1.0 are my favorite designs from the franchise. Like I said beofre, Iron Whiplash is one of those rare figures that people would get not minding if he only had -10 minutes screen time. he's just that good.

Don't worry, he's still coming. Just got this catalog today:

Damn, every time I see that armour I'm just floored. Thanks for the pic, Buttmunch (lol, so hard for me to type that, haha).

Unfortunately still no release window, hopefully early next year we will get some info. Hes my most wanted figure besides silver centurion and maybe igor.

No, its new I think.

It also officially announces Amazing Spider-man 2 license (which was only assumed before based on a Facebook post of the trailer's release).

Did you take any more pics of the inside of that book? And where do people get these anyway? Thanks

Hmm so he went back to being diecast? Didn't they decide to make him plastic? Could swear a few months back that was the case.
