For people that have oredered with Sideshow, the shipping is estimated at about $7.80 in the US. How far is that from the actual price when they ship? I have the Hot Toys ETD BL EX preordered and it has the same shipping estimate, but this will be more heavy casue of the bike.

I doubt $7.80 is close considering the box size and weight. I received the same estimate.

I often order from Toys2 and for a normal figure it cost $22 to ship which is about $10 more than SS. To ship GR from Toys2 is was $44 therefore, I am guessing $25 - 30 shipping GR to my address from SS.

IMO the $270 is a decent price. I'm going to order it but I'm going to preorder from Alter Ego since they'll be cheaper.

Guess that Lion-O is pretty much dead though now, :lol. Can't say I can purchase this and that and look for an OC Batman...not all at once with Christmas approaching.

Since I live close to Sideshow (Utah), its not very far off. I've had all of the GI Joe environments, the Emperor's throne, etc shipped to me for about $10. If you go with a retailer, I bet their shipping prices will be much higher and thus sets off any sort of deal you'd get with the retailer discounted price.

I still think this figure would look much much cooler with a painted flame instead of the translucent orange plastic. That see-through plastic looks kind of cheap, like something Hasbro would do. But cool, nonetheless.

gotta agree with you there, never was a fan of fire translated into plastic form (almost always takes away from the realism), but maybe if it were painted, the cheap feel would be reduced...

If they painted over the flames, that would completely negate the light up feature

And it would probably look like this :pfft:

It's growing on me. GR was one of the only comics I read when I was a kid so I definitely dig the character. I won't be pulling the trigger on this until closer to it's shipping date though.

Oh come now, he does a little in that particular pic above. Not so much in the other pics.
Besides, how many of us will be displaying him with his Nicholas Schwimmer head?! :D

You shut your mouth Eamon. I for one will be displaying my Ghost Rider figure ON his bike with the Nicholas Schwimmer head. Who would want a bad ass flaming head like Ghost Rider in your display case, when you can have the love child of Nicholas Cage and David Schwimmer sitting there on a bike on your shelf? Pshhhh not me. :cuckoo:

Anyway anyone know the official selling price of this figure? I've seen it up for pre-order in a few places and their asking price is around $250

I'm just curious, does anyone plan on using the Cage head, ever? I guess some like to display alter egos but it's never really been my thing.... especially when it's an actor I'm not overly fond of.
