Re: MMS - Iron Man 3 - Tony Stark

Ok...maybe not the worst...but the sculpt is Bad. I have shown that photo to 8 people, not one of them could tell it was RDJ. However, they thought the mark 7 hs looked a lot like him, except for the hair, so still not %100, but they knew who he was....

I agree that the sculpt sucks for the simple reason that older sculpts looked much closer to downey, but thats why this doesnt bother me personaly, i have so many rdj sculpts that will never get used, i can pick one from another figure to use on this guy and complete my gantry/workshop scene(absolutely love the workbench/accessories/upgraded dummy) :yess: oh and when this releases if someone wants the main stand center piece just pm me, cuz i plan to part it out. :peace

Re: MMS - Iron Man 3 - Tony Stark

Without question, one if not the WORST head sculpt I've seen from HT in the last 3 years. imo :monkey2

Again, imo, Mark 7 and 6 look much better than this new sculpt. If Adam Richman and Vincent D'onofrio had a kid, it would look like this guy
:thud:

Although I disagree about the HS, that was funny.

I wish they would just put it up for order on Sideshow just so morons like this one can stop with idiot posts. :lecture

Which moron you talking about? I just PO from one of official HT dealer in asia.

I don't think it's even close to bad. Compare it to their previous RDJ attempts and it stands out. A prototype is just that. It's not a final product so what you see is not what you get.

I like the sculpt, think its the best to date

Though it needs tweaking I agree.

Re: MMS - Iron Man 3 - Tony Stark

Without wanting to sound abusive, it seems these 8 people and you are a good fit for one another

It's just my opinion, and I know I'm not the only person who can't see the likeness of the actor. If you think it looks good, then good for you, buy the figure if you really like it that much. My opinion shouldn't bother you if you trully like the sculpt. In fact, it shouldn't matter. Oh.....and if you have to say, " without wanting to sound abusive", then you are knowingly being abusive and very immature towards people you don't even know. And all of this over a plastic figure?...:lol:cuckoo: However, I will take this, "you are a good fit for one another" as a compliment, since they are very smart and talented people :D

Look at how far we have come haha! This sculpt has potential, its only a proto and hopefully they tweak a bit but it is very good, just some angles makes it look off.

Do you like Mark 7? Because a lot of people don't like that one. I think the mark 7 really captures the personality of the character, even if the hair looks like a mix between Vanilla Ice and Ace Ventura...I see RDJ.

I love how people just jump to conclusions. Probably they think the only place you would pre-order from is SS because you're on the freaks forum or something. People go nuts when figures aren't up for order :impatient::thud:

Yeah I actually like the MKVII sculpt too. But again it could use some work. Can't wait to see the final product.

While I don't think it is as bad as some people are saying, it really does need tweaking, especially the eyes and forehead, the only thing that is giving me hope is how much better the dx10 headsculpt was than the prototype.

It's still nowhere near as bad as sculpts like the Indiana jones. Buts that not saying much.:lol

HT really need to improve with capturing likenesses, more often than not they are failing with headsculpts.

ATM in RDJ headsculpts:

MK1 2.0>MKVII>mech test>MKIV>IM3>those other crappy ones.
