It must be a slightly different demographic for JNDs home customer base I’m assuming? With the presence of their recent 1:3 Returns Catwoman, I could see them doing the same for the Burton films in 1:6. If InArt won’t do them that should be a good path for them to take, so long as we don’t get anymore powerposed 1:6.

Also, this is only my speculation, but maybe the reason there were so many issues with the 2.0 release was that they were gearing up for a 3.0 release very soon?
Maybe the bat-cave/computer set that we've seen teased around many conventions? I mean hot toys has done that with the DX19 and following up with the TDKR armory set very soon (with brand new improved suit and cowl) right after people got their DX19. Who knows...

The only problem is the 2.0 isn’t selling like it needs. So a 3.0 with even more stuff from a film people aren’t interested in by Hot Toys now a days seems unlikely. They’ll cut a line quick if it’s not turning profit.

True... unless they just add this 2.0 Bats into the computer set as another way to get rid of their overstock on 2.0 Bats.

At least 20% of the collecting market must be "gotta get 'em all" completists.

I don’t mean to offend anyone in this thread but I kind of feel like Keaton Batman fans get so obsessive over every minute detail. It gets to be a bit too much for me. It feels like no matter what someone won’t be happy for some reason or another.

I love y'all but Batman fans are another level of obsessive.
Not saying it doesnt come in handy now and then, nor is it unjustified - these are expensive dolls we buy in the search of detail and accuracy.
But it can be a lot at times

It’s difficult to be a Batman fan when everything Batman related has been few and far between and never accurate. Bale’s TDK suit and BVS has been Hot Toys only attempt at giving a damn for Batman collectors. Even Ledger took them twelve years to release a 2.0 with the new Artisan, the 2.0 bank robber Joker was an awful release all around and in ways, mirrors this 2.0.

I'm kinda worried now that they might release the 2.0 Returns bat as a exclusive of some sort. Since the 89 2.0 batches were very low overseas. And a lot of collectors in china seems to think that Returns suit and 89 suit looks quite similar, so they might pass on returns as well.

This pretty much confirms this 2.0 won’t have much competition for a while. I was looking forward to it, I actually prefer the suit in 1989 over Returns.

idk if its just me but something about the returns hot toys made never sat well with me. the cowl looked a bit odd to how I remembered keaton in that movie

Justin says DX09 faceplates can work, yes it looks more like Keaton but that gap in the cowl is too much.

Someone just sculpt proper ones so we don’t have to do dumb **** like that. I don’t want the sculpt falling apart on a brand new figure because of loose incompatible parts.

You forgot Pattinson Batman was released before them. So it will be three versions particular.

HT probably changed the size.

The new eyes are clearly better in macro shots, but I can't see macro when looking at my shelf.

If you can see past the textured suit just to have nice eyeballs, then you deserve this figure.

Yeah probably a size difference. Hope Unreals head turns out well. Content-ish for now with my DX09. All this custom talk has got me looking for way to improve it.

I like the detailed aspect of the eyes, I don’t like how they’ve been done. Keaton shouldn’t be wide eyed and they know this.

Anyone seen Unreal's recent video of his 89 sculpt. He's making it durable enough to withstand dropping to the floor, and breaking. I'd be more then happy if he made his mouth plates compatible with the new HT cowl.
