Hmm you may be right. I found this pic from the suits at a Marvel Event. The head is about where it should be. Still though, the suit is only an inch or two shorter than his other suits - not nearly a foot shorter like the figures will depict. The Mark I is listed at 11.81" - the new upcoming Mark III is listed at 12.79"!

It's fine if it's smoother than the plastic version but not as smooth as they have it right now. It should be somewhere in the middle. The plastic helmet was way too textured though?
The shinier smoother finish is actually more accurate.

Yep, it looks more accurate, and it's die cast, means the material is closer to the real thing.Yeah, I agree with dominishin on this one. The diecast version with it’s smoother, shinier look is more accurate to the movie. I thought he looked much better compared to the earlier version in the video. Height aside and helmet down this looks really nice to me.
It was a hard pass until I watched the unboxing. Now I’m considering it.
When this released today I was secretly hoping they had fixed the height issue. But looks like it's the typical Hot Toys fail on fixing obvious complaints. It's true. Sadly.
This little figure is still a fail. This Mk I was my most anticipated Iron Man... and HT just lobbed a lazy soft ball.
I can't wait to laugh when in-hand pictures show this standing next to their die cast Mark 5 and others.

Not a fair comparison in my opinion, the Mark 7 is one of his tallest armor same goes with the 5. That boy is a UNITIt's true. Sadly.
