1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: Captain Phasma

I am torn whether to keep my preorder or not. Character was such a let down in EP VII that not even the 'ooh so shiny' aspects redeems her in my eyes. She went down like a beyotch in such a laughable way.

You guys just seem determined to keep pushing this same thing . You don't want the figures then just move on.

I won't argue about her lack of screen presence. Although from some leaks I've read regarding Ep VIII, she'll have more of a substantial part to play. And if said leaks are true, she'll have a pretty intense scene that lives up to Star Wars characters

I bought her simply because she's shiny and looks amazing on display. I'm hoping her character lives up to the hype in the upcoming movies, but if not she'll still look cool on my shelf.

This one was an order for me simply because it looks Phantastic. Screen presence and story participation has little to do with it. Same reason I picked up the Hot Toys Kerberos Panzer Jaeger. Just an amazing figure and I couldn't tell you a single thing about the story behind that character.

Does anyone have a problem with SS transferring the nrd to another product? Haven't decided to do this yet but wondering if they fight you on it.

Has SSC sent out the 14 day for her...? SSC is now unboxing her and giving her away...usually means the figures are just in....

Still no email for my Phasma. Just got my Billy shelves lit so now gonna start my large PAX lighting for Vader which is my real target. Want it now.

Loving Phasma. I had to completely undress the figure to sort out the bodysuit, but she looks amazing. The cloak material is a bit bizarre and crinkles very easily. Water treatment improves the problem, but I wish that had chosen a heavier marierial.

So if anyone has been watching any of the live stream of the SW Celebration, the costume guys who developed Phasma said she was a quick rush with only minor tweaks and the chrome finish... They basically hinted after asked a question about next movie, that in EPVIII she will be much more "refined" while smiling as to hint she will be different perhaps??

Phasma didn't do much for me as a character but she sure looks great. Here's hoping they give her some more meat in the next film. Nice collection.

If she escaped the garbage shoot/trash compactor (they better explain that lol).

Overall, I am VERY disappointed in the figure. She keeps falling/sliding off her stand
and her cape, in my opinion, is by far the worst cape hot toys has ever put out...

I hope they work on the articulation of the Stormtrooper armor too. Just got my Riot Trooper and there's barely any useful articulation. I hope Episode 8 Phasma gets an upgrade in the articulation department.
