Guys don't give me a hard time, but I took Rey outside and it was a little bit windy and she fell over twice! Almost had a heart attack. All I could think was, Why didn't I listen to the Freaks?! BB-8 came along too.

Has Anyone done a Scavenger + Lightsaber look? Maybe Goggles on but face uncovered? to play off the McQuarrie inspiration.

Someone did a few pages back, not sure how many though!

Yeah it looks to me like HT got the basic proportions pretty spot-on, and there's not much room for lengthening the legs any further. I do see though that I need to lower the belt a bit, as well as the undershirt she's wearing.

She already has the long foot pegs that are glued to her legs, that's the problem because....

1. Since the pegs are glued, they are immobile which causes the lack of ball joint swivel to the boots and feet :slap

2. If you replace the TT with another, you lose the detail and craftsmanship of her shins :gah:

It's basically a no win trying to make her taller :thud:

Not to mention that you'd end up with her lower legs being a lot longer than her upper legs, which would just look weird.

Why do all the BB8's have that vertical black scuff on the head toward the right, near the bottom? I don't remember that being there in the movie...... But I haven't seen it in a few months. Need to watch it again!!!

This just further shows that Hot Toys needs to consider developing bodies specific to their subjects more often. Especially in cases where the extremities are so visible and anatomy is specific to the look (i.e. bust size and torso length). They gave Harley Quinn a custom body why not Rey? TFA was a monster hit and Suicide Squad was a monster bomb. Rey deserves more respect! ;)

Yeah they seem to favor cartoon or comic book proportions (where women all have short torsos and ridiculously long legs) over more realistic ones. And it would be nice someday to get a Black Widow figure that didn't make Scarlett Johansson look like a skinny teenager.
