I don't like having to trek up there and the hours are horrible. Are they getting the 2-pack even? I thought it was exclusive?

Weird. Did you preorder when it went up? I only ordered a month ago.

might have been an ex but they do get offered them from time to time, I am lucky I live nice and close :D still couple bucks in gas $$ saves you a ton in the long run. They also have a store in inglewood now if thats any closer for you

Not really closer. Still a 25min drive. I'm Deep South so there's really not a good option that's close to me. How long of a wait is it for them after a figure comes out?

I placed my order back in November.

Hmm maybe they changed the shipping from then. I've seen it happen before. You got the 2 pack?

Depends entirely on sideshow :lol

I got Zod the same week SS started shipping and just got Red Snapper last week (and I think SS has been shipping him for a week or two prior).

and some Ive received a week before most SS customers,

Ok cool, so about a $20 difference direct from sideshow. I tired doing another dimension but it was such a bad experience I'm a bit gun shy.

But back on topic, I'm excited for these guys. I think I'm going to use the bases for my avengers display along with the mark VII bd base.

AD adds SS shipping to everything even though they dont pay nearly as much, Chinook hobby west did the same thing back in the day, they worked in cahoots to jack prices (as the owners are good friends). the other good thing is getting to physically hold the thing in your hands before you buy too, less worrisome for me

as for the topic, I decided not to buy these as my collection is out of control as is and Im holding out for a super villain for all my avengers to fight, these would clutter a bit I think

I figured they were in cahoots when they said AD got all of chinook and hobbies stock when they got out of it. AD once charged me for the SS shipping and custom fees as well as gst. That was the last figure I bought from them. It was hawkeye so at least it's tripled in value. I don't mind not holding it. Have you ever checked out discovery huts prices in chinook? It's laughable how much they mark it up. Darth Vader was going for $450 or something crazy.

I'm only getting these guys because I really wanted to be a completist with the Avengers line and I just sold off a huge chunk of my collection to re focus only on marvel.

I dont know how DH stays i business... they are so insane, I can imagine their rent is through the roof though. And a hawkeye is a great score, I sold mine off a long time ago, dont really regret it though, was always hoping HT's would do a possessed version but not gunna happen at this point :lol

you doing all the IM stuff too?

I'm only going completist on The Avengers and Captain America lines. I'm getting lots of Iron Man stuff but not all if it. I have no need for the power pose mk42 or the busts. I'll probably get most of it but not all of it.

I get marking up a little bit but double retail is just insane. I do t thing they have ever sold a single figure. I feel bad for any sucker that does.

did you go to the comic expo? these Filipino guys from out east were priced similarly... I spent 4 days there checking on them and they moved like 4-5 HT's pieces (newer lower priced ones) and to think how much it cost 5 of them to come out and do the show was just sad, I dont know how you could make a living at it.

your HOA looks sick, I too have no interest in pP 42 or the busts, and it appears HT's is still pumping out IM so Im gunna need to scale way back

I don't even bother going to the expo anymore. I use to go to try and get deals on toys but when I went last year all I did was point out to my friends the crazy over priced toys.

Thanks man! It was stupid expensive but it was my last big purchase before my baby was born. I wasn't planning on getting any of the IM3 armors but they got delayed so long I'll be off paternity leave and can afford them!

Yeah prices go up for everything there.

Congrats as well man,

As expected, my Chitauri from HK just arrived today!

It's HUGE, together with MK VII both almost fill up my dio. Thus, thinking if i still need an army of these wanna-be Skrulls! Just might trade-up my EX once i get 'em LoLz!

Thanks for looking!

Just got my Chitauri set and found the Commander with the tendril thing on the left side ripped. :(

Hopefully SSC can send a replacement soon.

why would that have ripped like that? is it glued down to the collar bone area?

So I figured out the correct term for it, the "neck armor." Yes, it's supposed to be glued down to the collar bone, which you can see it is still glued down on the left side at the bottom. This left side is supposed to be one whole rubber piece, but it was split into two right out of the box.
