So I figured out the correct term for it, the "neck armor." Yes, it's supposed to be glued down to the collar bone, which you can see it is still glued down on the left side at the bottom. This left side is supposed to be one whole rubber piece, but it was split into two right out of the box.

Design and material flaws... even at default head position the "rubbery neck armor" was stretched

Are the headpieces meant to be pink?

I dont think so, just light coloration

That's the second person saying that the neck armor ripped. To those of you who have these, how is the head articulation? Is it really restricted by the neck armor?

Got these guys today and the articulation isn't great but not horrible. My set didn't have any problems with the rubber. They weren't tight or stretching out of the box. I tilted them down so it wouldn't put any extra strain on them just in case. here's a photo of them on my villains shelf.

Nice setup you got there . Chitauri's look awesome .

Just finished unpacking the figures, I'm happy that there is nothing wrong with the neck armor on mine.

Current setup until I have more time and space.

Wow! Nice shots, guys! And Emerald you've been naughty lately, huh? ... for hoarding Loki lolz! Must agree with the articulation thing — decent but not great.

Hopefully, everyone who has concerns of his Chitauri gets a replacement! Wish zero concerns on mine when i get my EX from SSC soon! At least, my loose figure from HK didn't have any concerns at all

Awesome display! :clap You have many, many Loki's

Nice set up. Red Skull kicks ***. Love that fig :rock

Reporting mine, a 3rd one broken... now on the left

Awww s__t. 3 means they will be a 4th, 5th & so on.

Was it like that straight out of the box or did you turn the head and it ripped?

Sucks to see this issue is so prevalent. Mine was already detached, but I got it replace quickly and easily. Beyond that, they're great figures...

I dont see why that piece even needs to be glued down... they could have just left it "floating" in that position and it would have been fine

Great villains display!

The chitauri on the left looks like he can play some mean guitar. Right handed like Hendrix too!

It's connected on screen though. I'm just trying to figure out how they are ripping in the box. Unless they're not :idea :lol

to me it looks like it rips when the head turns side to side... and they could have done it so it appears to be connected but moves when turned... minor screen accuracy sacrifice
