When I PO from PC I try to pay in full at the time. It's tough but it really helps on the other end. The other thing is I try to lock in the pre-order early bird discount (and hopefully add some pennies) because when you order with the $100 deposit, the order page doesn't reflect the actual price you PO'd at, just the $100 deposit price. Given these are up to a year or more on PO, I like to know the price charged at the end is the price I PO'd at. I don't want to risk getting charged the full price on release with nothing documented to prove a lower order price. Maybe I'm paranoid

That's pretty wise. I've got a few pre-orders with them at the moment. After I pay the deposit, I request a PayPal invoice so I can make payments (min$50) when I want before it gets released. The discounted price is shown on the PayPal invoice, so I know it's locked in. I've got the Deadpool 2 figure on that at the early discount price. Hope that helps.

It’s very unlike them I hope they are not going the way of a certain other Aussie retailer. I have more than a couple of orders with them. I know there were delays with the Spidey figure but man ... I think they have delayed it at least three times now.

Reminds me of his expression when he meets with Vader after letting himself get captured and also when they both arrive in the throne room. "Cautiously confident" is the way I'd describe that look Hamill gave during those moments.

Yeah, that's frustrating that they won't elaborate and just keep pushing it back. I hope this is just a blip for them. I highly doubt they will go the way of that other retailer (ugh!), since they are a bricks and mortar store as well with a pretty solid reputation. But it does feel "wobbly". I messaged them about my Jedi Luke last night to confirm that my PayPal invoice was paid off, so I really hope they get back to me shortly....or he gets delivered in the next few days.

I think Popcultcha are all above board but are stretched very thinly staff wised compared to the amount of different lines they support and the volumes they ship. Look at how they handle the SDCC Pop exclusives - they go into meltdown for weeks. If they were able to have dedicated staff for different areas of their stores it might be different. Hot toys is just one of many lines for them and I get the impression they are at the whim of their suppliers in regards to shipping information and schedules and either don't have the leverage or push to try and get things in quicker or receive constant ETA updates.
