Did they ever fix the all the flaking and issues with the smaller Vaders, or is this going to peal and flake in a few years too?

Only Medicom Vader suits had issues so far. There were some big issues with other Hot Toys pleathered figures from Terminator, The Crow and others though, nothing so far with Vader figures. That doesn't mean it cannot happen.

I am 0 for 2 on a working head base. The first one, only the red light worked, the second one both lights did not work. I have since emailed them for a third. Sideshow is great with replacements but I wish they would test their replacements prior to shipping.

I thought they did this as they sent me a new body + hilt. The hilt worked out in my favour as I can get the broken one converted into a ccfl saber.

But thought they tested them.

I think they've been back for a while now. But I prefer using the LED tape lights on Amazon that come in a roll, as you can get them in daylight color and adjust the brightness level.

Ok. Is this easy to cut or do you have to put it all down as one strip?
Could I use it for say two smaller display cases with just the one package?

You can cut them but you will need a connector to join them

Love him.. haven't tested the light up features, as I've never used them on a figure yet (I've probably got hundreds of dollars worth of defective HT pieces in my displays, lol)

Moved both quarter scales to the area of my display previously used for sixth scale HT Thor figures..

Question (and sorry if this has already been asked and answered):

In the Old Anakin portrait, at the crown of the inside where the ?mounting stem? goes, there is a square inset. Did anyone have a magnet mounted inside theirs? It?s an odd depression inside the head and would certainly have helped keep the portrait on, but mine has no magnet - and that?s despite the existence of a magnet at the top of the mounting stem.

Enterbay have made some great 1/4 figures. Not sure if they are still releasing new stuff.

Just put down a payment plan ending on the 5th of Dec for the exclusive. Hopefully it'll come before Christmas - super excited for it! Think of slimming down my 1/6th for more impressive pieces. I think ultimately I'd like the 1/6th Sith Anakin which I already have, this and the new Bespin Luke coming out to represent Star Wars for me. Perhaps Mandaorian down the line but I think that'd be it, star wars is a rabbit hole I already went down with toys when I was a kid!

simple hack the sheet plastic under is black so won't shine through. Rough bit of perspex laying around with some paper ontop.

Can be powered by hidden USB power bank or usb plug.

Decided to pre-order this figure too. It looks good, and I also got free shipping and used my 20 Euro voucher to ease the purchase. But will have to wait a bit for the EU distributor to get it in stock. I don't care for the EX.

And I think I have a place to have another custom cabinet build next year, and thus this Vader (and a couple other collectibles) will have a display space

Things are getting serious if jkno is buying one.

Looks great!

I was wondering if that bottom base could be lit up instead of only the top part, makes for better storage and I think it looks nicer. Don't suppose you'd do a video tutorial?
