Super Freak
Hey guys,
Well, I've been repainting Robocops for over 2 years now and at some point I figured I just had to bite the bullet and repaint one entirely.
The previous repaints I did I was using the factory chrome silver as a base color and was working on top of that with transparent colors.
In this case, nothing is stock anymore. Well except for the mouth pieces.
The black rubber parts which were originally super glossy and cheap looking have been repainted as well.
Needless to say, this is a ton of work compared to the previous Robocop repaints I've done but the end result is well worth it.
I've spent a lot of time studying the 1987 paint scheme and I don't think I could make this any more accurate.
Of course, the metallics have tons of variations depending on the lighting. Same as the movie suit.
Thanks to Darth Magnus for trusting me with this project.
